Strong communities empower families and ensure that all children have a sense of belonging. Lisa Fleming was born and raised in Saskatoon. She is the proud mother of a daughter and recognizes the power of community in ensuring children and youth experience healthy opportunities while reaching their potential.
A former educator, Lisa has worked in a variety of educational leadership roles as well as the Government of Saskatchewan. Lisa currently leads the Early Learning and Childcare portfolio with Metis Nation-Saskatchewan. Previously, Lisa was a board member with the Child Hunger Education Program (CHEP Inc.) and the Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECIP) for Saskatoon and area. A reader and cook, Lisa loves to spend time with her many family members. She is excited to support the work of the AIM Board and looks forward to connecting with children, youth and their families.
